International Volunteer Academy www.volunteeracademy.blogspot.com isdedicated to enhancing the lives of the people (happy people–happy world) by implementing educational, investment, charity and development programs, creating various community service and development projects, providing health care services to those who need it.

Currently we are looking for youth and partners worldwide.

Volunteer Academy relies on the efforts of interns and volunteers to make its programs to work for good and therefore we are very flexible and easy to work with. Having 14 years + experience we are looking for people with strong written and verbal communication skills with an interest in international relations, social enterprise development, peace building, fundraising, NGOs or simple to have fun and travel.

Groups of any size are also welcome.

Interning or volunteering is unpaid work but you will gain a lot of precious knowledge and experience for your life. Volunteer Academy is able to arrange housing accommodations and provide you with various cultural excursions and experiences. Also by request we could organize business, study, scientific, research, student exchange, youth exchange, schools exchange, medical, religious, visiting holly places, history, wine, food, natural fruits and vegetables, rural, ecologic etc. programs and tours.

We do, however, ask for a one time donation of 40 Euros + local fees (local fees differ from country to country and program to program but are the cheapest in the world) to cover the administration costs of arranging your placement.

În maternitatea din cadrul Institutului de Cercetări Ştiinţifice „Centrul Mamei şi Copilului” din municipiul Chișinău nu sunt de ajuns pătucuri pentru bebeluși. Situația a degradat atât de mult, încât copiii nou-născuți sunt nevoiți să doarmă chiar și în valiză. Incredibil, dar adevărat.

O mamică a fost nevoită să-și culce bebelușul într-un geamantan, după ce angajații maternității au anunțat-o că instituția nu are suficiente pătucuri. „Copilașul meu a dormit în valiză. Toți au zâmbit și s-au indignat de condițiile maternității, dar spun că nu pot face nimic”, spune femeia.

De cealaltă parte, directorul blocului „Maternitate”, Marin Rotaru, încearcă să justifice situația creată spunând că nu ajung bani. „Situația la maternitate este una foarte dificilă. Nu ajung bani. Am fost nevoiți să alocăm mijloacele financiare la reparații curente. S-a ajuns ca în sălile de operație să plouă. În ultimul an, noi am făcut foarte multe. Am reparat săli de operație, am reamenajat săli de reanimare și secții clinice - toate din forțele proprii. Asta după ce timp de 30 de ani nu s-a făcut absolut nimic. Acum am elaborat proiecte prin care sperăm să obținem investiții”, a punctat directorul.

Șeful de la maternitate a recunoscut că nu ajung paturi pentru prunci. „Chiuvete pentru nou-născuți nu s-au procurat de vreo 17-20 de ani. Majoritatea sunt deteriorate. Deocamdată avem vreo 50 și mai avem nevoie cam tot de atâtea. Din 2010 tot bat alarma la Consiliul de Administrație, dar erau și alte priorități”, a explicat Rotaru.

Potrivit lui, există și vești bune. În următoarele săptămâni maternitatea urmează să primească 30-40 de paturi, în urma unui proiect de colaborare. Costul aproximativ al unui pătuc este de circa 3800-4000 lei.

UNIMEDIA precizează că problemele la Centrul Mamei şi Copilului se țin lanț. Anterior, din cauza ploilor și a acoperișului prost reparat, mai multe secţii au fost inundate de apă. Administraţia spitalului spune că pentru o reparație capitală este nevoie de circa 200 milioane lei, bani de care instituția nu dispune.

Комментарии друзей к последнему посту напомнили мне один случай.

Это была моя первая работа в Америке по специальности, за настоящую зарплату, и я очень старалась. Помимо прочего, в мои обязанности входило чтение цикла лекций "новости в науке о питании" для посетителей медицинского центра. Для этой цели мне предоставили большой светлый зал, примыкающий к открытому холлу. В холле располагался кабинет администратора. Происходило это действо раз в неделю, в назначенное время, в течение получаса. Директор намекнул, что неплохо было бы привлечь на лекции как можно больше народу.

На первую лекцию мне пришлось хитростью заманивать случайно проходивших мимо пациентов, но поскольку я подыскивала интересный материал, иллюстрировала лекцию слайдами, приносила продукты для демонстрации и даже репетировала дома перед зеркалом, то количество слушателей постепенно возросло, а через пару месяцев люди уже приходили в центр специально на мои лекции.

Причиной притока новых слушателей было еще и то, что мой голос был хорошо слышен в примыкающем к залу холле; голос у меня приятный, дикция хорошая, и, как вы, возможно подозреваете, я вообще люблю поговорить о еде, и уж, тем более, в микрофон.

Проходившие мимо пациенты заглядывали в зал, некоторые из них задерживались и после приходили еще.

Все шло хорошо, но вдруг администраторша заявила, что пациенты в ожидании своей очереди на процедуры, смотрят в этом зале телевизор, и потребовала, чтобы я перенесла лекции в другое помещение, в подвал.

Я не видела причины для конфликта: другое помещение так другое, и послушно перебралась в подвал. Постоянные слушатели все равно приходили, но приток новеньких значительно уменьшился.

На очередном собрании у директора я простодушно заявила, что лекции в зале привлекали гораздо больше народу, и не проще ли было бы перенести телевизор в другое место, а меня, все-таки, оставить в этом зале. Директор тут же распорядился перенести телевизор в подвал, лекции вернули в большой зал, количество слушателей опять стало расти, а я нажила себе врага - админстраторша стала строить мне козни при любой возможности. Она затевала мероприятия, для которых ей требовался именно этот зал и как раз во время моих лекций - она приглашала важных спикеров, которые почему-то не могли придти в другой день, или затевала срочный ремонт, и мне все равно приходилось переносить лекции в другие помещения.

Причина ее ненависти была непонятна, я полагала, что если успешно выполняю роль приманки новых посетителей, то это хорошо для центра, а значит и для каждого работника и для нее в том числе. В конце концов, это всего раз в неделю и всего полчаса. Все остальное время зал был полностью в ее распоряжении.

Эта ненависть стала заметна и другим работникам: меня успокаивали и говорили, что она мне просто завидует. А чему там завидовать - у нее своя работа, у меня своя. А была она, кстати, прекрасным админстратором - отлично организовывала мероприятия и улаживала любые конфликты.

Я терялась в догадках, и наконец, решила, что ненависть ее беспричинна, старалась с ней поменьше пересекаться, и молча страдала, так как жаловаться директору считала делом недостойным.

О причине я бы не догадалась никогда, если бы случайно кто-то не упомянул, что на время моих лекций она прячется в других офисах, слоняется по центру и все время смотрит на часы, ожидая окончания. Она жаловалась, что в ее кабинете слышно каждое слово, и мои лекции о еде вызывали у нее страшный аппетит, с которым ей приходилось после мучительно бороться. Она пробовала закрывать двери наглухо, но мой голос проникал даже сквозь через щели, и ей страшно хотелось есть.
